Boulder Country Day School - After School Program Assistant Teacher

Status: Part-time, Wednesday afternoons, 3:00-5:30 pm (working additional hours may be possible)

Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $22.00/hour

Start date: Immediately (with paid training hours prior start date)                      


The Ideal candidate will:

  • Be at least 18 years old. 

  • Have experience working with children and college coursework in early childhood education.

  • Love working in a school environment and enthusiastically believe in the importance of children. 

  • Possess a strong sense of integrity and promote trust in our school and its community.

  • Actively communicate with others collaborate - including colleagues, parents, students, and members of the greater BCD community.

  • Model a growth mindset and practice open minded, flexible, and reflective thinking.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Supervising preschool students (3-5 years of age)

  • Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.

  • Implementing age appropriate experiences and activities, such as arts, crafts, and games

  • Communicating with colleagues.
